And quite frankly, it’s a good thing. I have a lot of things going on right now. I’m still, yes still, in the process of editing The New Face of Security. I will get it done. I swear. I’ve also got a Everybody’s Dead that I just finished confirming my cast for. That goes to stage in January with KWLT. Oddly enough, another piece of mine will be in the same show. Diggin’ A Hole will be adapted for stage and will be performed in the same show. I’m still playing catch up on that for casting and adapting. A couple people still need to be confirmed and the script needs to be written. Table read is this coming Wednesday and then it’s right in to rehearsals. I’ve got a project that I’ve had around for nearly eight years that I’ve always wanted to do. It’s a short take on 80′s slasher fare. The script, titled Bad Kitty, just finished up on a rough draft this evening. The draft has been sent out to a couple of actors to see if they’re interested. From there I’ve probably got five weeks to pull everything together so we can shoot it over the Christmas holiday. Aside from that I’ve a short script that I’m writing for Ed Mochrie, someone I’ve worked with a couple times through heavyliftingindustries, for a project that he wants to shoot in around the same period I’m planning on doing Bad Kitty. I’ve already turned in a rough draft and gotten some largely positive feedback. Still some work to do on it yet. Not much I can divulge in terms of details at the moment though. I’m still working on Shallow. I want to give it another polish edit pass and then another proofing before it’s properly released. Just a matter of finding the time with everything else going on to do so. david shute - 11.11.10 @ 23:53 - permalink |
